Module:  Neonaticide-Infanticide

Homicide is a leading cause of death for infants and children. In some cases, mothers who commit infanticide or neonaticide were experiencing mental illness at the time, and psychiatrists may have important roles in prevention.

Prevention of neonaticide and infanticide are different, and begins with understanding the various motives and common patterns.
